Omer Shatz is an international lawyer, lecturer in international law at Sciences Po Paris, and Yale Law School graduate. In Israel\Palestine, he co-founded, with Adv. Iftach Cohen, a human rights law firm specialized in Supreme Court litigation. Together, they also co-founded We Are Refugees, an NGO that provided pro-bono representation to detained asylum-seekers, and co-litigated the 'Anti-Infiltration Law' case, a landmark ruling that led to the release of 1,500 refugees and secured the liberty of tens of thousands others. In France, Omer was a special associate in the international law firm Shearman & Sterling LLP. He gave advice to organisations and individuals such as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Julian Assange. He is currently focused on strategic litigation that is challenging EU migration policies (ICC, ECtHR, CJEU). 

Iftach Cohen is an international lawyer. Specialized in humanitarian, human rights and refugee law, he graduated from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. In 2009, he co-founded, with Adv. Omer Shatz, a human rights law firm specialized in Israeli Supreme Court litigation. In 2010, they also co-founded an NGO which provided pro-bono legal representation for detained asylum seekers, including victims of torture, sexual abuse and human trafficking. In 2016, on behalf of an international organization, he initiated and directed an innovative legal project in Sicily, which provided access to rights and legal information to asylum seekers in Italy. In 2018-2019 he represented EASO as a member of an international team of experts, sitting in the Territorial Commission for the Recognition of International Protection of Rome. As a Senior Legal Adviser, he is currently directing a legal team and managing the civil project at front-LEX (ECtHR, CJEU).

Andreas Meyer (1937) fights against all forms of injustice.

His ancestors fled from Nuremberg to Frauenfeld in 1630.

A weak and sickly child for 10 years, he miraculously survived. In 1956, he graduated from the school of horticulture in Châtelaine-Genève. His desire to escape was impossible because of the cold spell of 1956. He reluctantly joins the declining parental garden. He realizes his personal ideas and mechanization techniques. In 1970, he founds Hortechica AG, whose innovative concepts and own products meet with success, taking over development and production. He exports to 15 countries. He is the co-founder of the SWISSEXPORT cooperative. In 1973 he became involved with the Chilean refugees with Father Cornelius Koch and Peter Walss, then with the Kurds, AAA with Peter&Heidi Zuber, Amnesty International. In 1998, he plans the succession and settles in Portugal, where he is involved with the Sandrose Foundation and in a project for the integration of refugees in Portugal.

Claude Calame is the Director of studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. after he taught at the Universities of Lausanne, Urbino and Yale. He is a historian and anthropologist of ancient Greek culture. Sensitive to the relations of neo-colonial domination to which the countries of the North have subjected the countries of the South through interposed globalization, he denounces the social and ecological consequences of this domination. Initially active in the SOS-Asile movement in Switzerland, he is committed to the respect of individual and social rights of migrants, as a member of the LDH (EHESS Section), ATTAC (Migration Commission) and Ensemble!. In January 2019, he denounced the death of thousands of migrants in the Central Mediterranean at the Permanent Peoples' Tribunal for Refugee Rights (Tribunal Permanent des Peuples pour les droits des réfugié-es) in Paris. He also edited, with Alain Fabart, the collective volume Migrations forcées, discriminations et exclusions. Les enjeux de politiques néocoloniales (Paris, Le Croquant, 2020).

Michael Genner, born in 1948 in Vienna, is an Austrian political activist. He was a member of the board of directors of "Spartakus" from 1970 to 1972, a pro-youth organization that fought against reformatories. In 1973, he co-founded the European cooperative Longo maï. In 1989, he became a legal advisor for asylum seekers in Vienna. Since 1993, he continues this work with Asyl in Not, an NGO of which he became president in 2004. He has led an unceasing struggle to defend the rights and interests of refugees and migrants. Laureate of the Austrian League for Human Rights (2011). He is the author of Verleitung Zum Aufstand / Encouragement to Revolt, (Mandelbaum-Verlag, 2012).

Hannah Kentouche is an activist in the transnational network Afrique-Europe-Interact for freedom of mobility and equitable development. She is part of Alarm Phone Sahara, a project of solidarity interventions at the externalized borders of the EU. Hannah is involved in numerous anti-racist groups in Vienna in combating deportations and co-founded the initiative against detention centers for migrants. She is a member of Kritnet - Network for Critical Research on Border Regimes and Migration. As a social scientist, she has studied international development and gender studies in Vienna, Paris, Pretoria and Ouagadougou.

René Lehnherr is co-founder of the European agricultural cooperative Longo maï, of the C.E.D.R.I (European Committee for the Defense of Refugees and Immigrants), and of the European Civic Forum. He is also the initiator of the Monsanto Tribunal that was set up in The Hague in 2016. The current Tribunal, which is directed against the Hardliners of the murderous European asylum policy, and is due to pronounce itself in Brussels in 2021/22, is an initiative of civil society and is partly inspired by the Monsanto Tribunal. René Lehnherr has lived in Amsterdam for 22 years, where he worked as an IT specialist.

Christiane Lüst is a qualified social educator (HES) and works at the environmental center Öko & Fair in Gauting on the action "GMO Complaints". Since 2001, she has submitted and represented numerous reports for and with NGOs from all over the world on human rights violations before the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights - with a focus on agro-engineering technology, glyphosate, etc.

Ambassador to the Monsanto Tribunal, she is also very active in favor of refugees in Italy, following the model of the recent film The New Gospel, by Milo Rau.
